Origins of Notune

In a distant galaxy, a brilliant supernova gave birth to a new solar system and planet called Notune, a thriving world where diverse species lived in harmony. But one area on Notune, Sector 8, was different. It was plagued by crime and rebellion, and it’s where Nova, a young alien from a once-great race called the Yiras, was born.The Yiras didn’t need food or water, they would be recharged by sleeping. But when the new ruling race, the Enus, took over, they had blamed the Yiras for abandoning them, banishing the Yiras to Sector 8. Over time, the Enus seized all power and resources, leaving the Yiras in poverty.

Life in Sector 8

Nova had lost her family early on in life. The Enus massacred the Yiras in an event known as The Yiras Extermination. Nova had narrowly escaped, remembering her mother’s last words:
"You will do great things, my Nova. Bring honor to our name."After The Yiras Extermination, she survived in hiding for 19,000 Earth years, learning to be more resourceful. Over time, she found a new makeshift family in Sector 8.

Is it the End or Beginning?

Nova discovered that the Enus had a plan to gain full control of everyone on Notune. As a rebellion turned to war, she saw her home falling apart. Nova recalls her friend, Koen's memorable words, "You can’t fight anger with anger."With that, she began preparing to leave Notune, gathering her valuables, including a jewelry box from her parents. With help from her friends, she reached an escape pod stolen from the Enus. While the group were escaping, the Enus had caught up. As they were fighting, her friends pushed her into the escape pod, sacrificing themselves.

New Planet, New Life

With a heavy heart, she finally escaped to the stars and eventually found a beautiful blue planet, Gaia. And it reminded her of home. Nova decided to stay, feeling hope for the first time. She discovered a platform called Twitch, where she began streaming games to her Earthlings. It was a nice reminder of her gaming days with her friends back on Notune!

Moshimei and the New Nova

Months later, a mysterious star exploded near her. A piece of it hit her, leaving fragments in her eyes. When she woke up, she found a cute star being licking her face, and she decidedly names it Moshimei.The encounter had changed her, physically and emotionally, leaving Nova disconnected from her previous image. With Moshimei’s help, they changed her look, becoming the version of herself she always wanted to be. She couldn’t wait to share her new self and new friend, Moshimei, with her Earthlings.
